Lovermine is guided by a slower, more considered approach to creating. Each collection begins almost a year before it reaches you, allowing time for every piece to be thoughtfully developed and refined.
From first sketch to final garment, the process is a close collaboration between our team and our makers. Each style is fitted and refined numerous times before production begins, with careful attention given to proportion, fit and the smallest of details.

We have developed meaningful relationships with our makers, united by a shared appreciation for craftsmanship, quality and a thoughtful approach to making.
Traditional and artisanal techniques are at the heart of Lovermine. From delicate embroidery and lacework to intricate hand crochet - many of the details that make our pieces distinctly Lovermine require skilled hands, patience and time.
INDIA
Our makers in India are GOTS certified and work to recognised environmental and social standards, while continuing to reduce the environmental impact of their production. Beyond the workroom, they support local charitable initiatives and foster an inclusive workplace across cultures and religions.
Together with our makers in India, we hope to help keep traditional skills alive by thoughtfully bringing age-old techniques into a contemporary wardrobe - celebrating the knowledge and craftsmanship of the artisan communities behind them.
INDONESIA
In Bali, we work closely with a small group of women who handcraft our crochet pieces using traditional techniques. Each garment begins with individual balls of yarn, allowing our makers to use only what is required for each piece and resulting in minimal material waste.
For us, these slower methods of making are part of what gives a Lovermine piece its character - the subtle beauty of something made by hand, with care and intention.
OUR FABRICATIONS
We favour natural and thoughtfully chosen fabrications, selected for their beauty, feel and longevity. For us, thoughtful design begins with the materials themselves; how they feel against the skin, how they wear and how they will be loved over time.
ORGANIC COTTON - GOTS CERTIFIED
Soft, airy and beautifully light against the skin, our GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certified organic cotton brings an effortless ease to each piece. Chosen for its natural softness and breathability, it is produced in accordance with GOTS environmental and social criteria throughout textile processing. Beautiful to wear and made with longevity in mind, it is a fabric we return to time and again.
FOR THE LOVE OF CROCHET
There is an inherent slowness to making something by hand. Each Lovermine crochet piece can take several days to create, with intricate details and subtle variations that are part of the beauty and character of the craft.
Our cotton crochet styles are made in very limited quantities to allow our artisans the time required to handcraft each garment without rushing the process. Beginning simply with yarn and skilled hands, each piece is slowly brought to life - a celebration of time, craft and the beauty of something made by hand.
Nothing is rushed. Every detail is considered with the intention of creating pieces to be worn, loved and held dear for years to come.

Our Lovermine design studio is located in Northern New South Wales, Australia, on the lands of the Arakwal people of the Bundjalung Nation.
